This website is going to be over my adventures in COMP 257 Advanced Web Page Design. Each week I will go over the things I did in this class and whether I enjoyed them and what struggles I faced along the way.

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 12, 2020 This week in class I am installing WAMP and WordPress. From my understanding instead of using wordpress.com for my website. The reason I am installing wordpress to a local host is so that my site is private and if I choose to publish it, the world can not see when I make changes to my site until I update it. Currently I am stuck in part of the process. The part I am stuck at is asking for me to connect the database I created in MYSQL to WordPress. I can not get them to link together. I will continue to work on it to figure out the problem. So far this is the only issue I have had while downloading and installing everything.

Wednesday February 19, 2020 This week I worked on my group project and continued to download wordpress. I deleted my old data base in MYSQL and started a new one and that seem to fix the issue. The issue I was having was not allowing me to connect wordpress and database. That is no longer a problem for me.

Wednesday February 26, 2020 This I continued to work on the group project. Wednesday I had to attend a symposium. The symposium gave me a refresher on some information I had learned through my classes at VU and offered more knowledge in the cyber security world. I enjoyed it and would recommend having students attend the future ones.
